TAKE-IT TOO

TAKE-IT TOO (Teen Adherence in KidnEy transplant, Improving Tracking To Optimize Outcomes) is a multi-center study aimed at improving the ability of teen and young adult kidney transplant recipients to take their anti-rejection medication on time, every time. Taking medication on time, every time is called ‘adherence’.

TAKE-IT TOO aims to design an electronic medication tracking and reminder system, called an e-pillbox, specifically for young people, and to figure out how healthcare professionals can help young people improve their adherence to their daily medication.

The TAKE-IT TOO Team includes patient and parent collaborators, and will work with a Stakeholder Advisory panel composed of patients, parents and healthcare professionals to advance study objectives.
